Actress Richa Gangopadhayay, who was debuted in Tollywood with the film "Leader", later also entered into Kollywood. Now she is all set to act in a Bengali film.She has been roped as female lead in Bengali film, which is a remake of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster film "Vikramarkudu".She is also happy to act in a Bengali film, because it is her mother tongue.Richa also confirmed this news and also said that luckily she could adjust the dates for this film at the last minute.
Rajib is directing the film and Prosenjit Chatterjee is playing the lead role in this untitled film.Most of the film is being shot in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Karnataka.
The year 2011 is the good year for Richa and she also got all the accolades for her performance in Tamil film "Mayakkam Enna". She also acting with Prabhas which is being directed by Koratala Shiva. She has been roped also in Venky’s upcoming film to be directed by Meher Ramesh.
